West Nile shots

We are still debating if the dead foal syndrome is caused from the west nile shots. We had 2 premies in Feb. , one of those mares ended up still foaling, so was caring twins, but I sold the other mare, so don't know if she was caring twins also & now this closer to full term foal. All mares have foaled now, one other mare foaled & the foal died with colic like symptoms within 2 days of birth, I had 3 mares that had live foals( as of now still alive), then two open mares, but never before I started giving the shots did I lose foals like this. The rest of my mares were not vaccinated. All of the mares NOT vaccinated had there foals, absolutely no problems! Now why is that? Every one of them foaled. Theres to much coincidence there. The mares that I vaccinated the year before did not foal at all. I just can't chance it, so no longer give the west nile shot. Never have had a west nile case, either & we are in the middle of west nile country.  Best wishes to all............

What a loss!

Makes me sick!

Heads up to the possibilities! ALSO this is now 2007 and never have given the west nile shot and never have had a sick horse or lost anymore foals to reasons that couldn't be explained. WE STILL FEEL THAT WAS THE REASON FOR OUR TERRIBLE TIME THAT YEAR.
